STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to locate two teen girls, who, in separate cases, have been reported missing.

Serenity Nieves, 16, was last seen Aug. 28 at her home on St. Mary’s Avenue in Rosebank, according to a written statement from the office of the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

She was reported missing 10 days later on Sept. 7, the police statement said.

At the time she was last seen, it was thought she was headed to Clifton, a law-enforcement source said Thursday.

She is described as standing 5 feet, 2 inches tall with brown eyes and black hair.

Police released an image Thursday of Samantha Ramos, 16, who was reported missing from her home in New Brighton. (NYPD)

Police are also seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old girl reported missing from her New Brighton home.

Samantha Ramos, of Corson Avenue, was last seen Wednesday around 4:45 p.m., according to an NYPD statement.

She is described as 5 feet tall and 100 pounds, with a thin build, dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple-hooded jacket, multi-colored fleece pants and orange sandals.
