from Norway said the main focus of the self-ventilating basic concept was the combination of ventilation, comfort and versatility.Nevertheless, the aim was to develop work safety equipment with a weight of less than 350 grams in any case.Features like good stretching and light fabric with the ventilation slats are intended to serve workers from different professions.Thanks to the lighter-weight textiles, comfort is maintained over several working hours.Practical: the work clothes have so many pockets that tools are always within reach.For example, the desire to integrate at least two smartphone pockets was also incorporated, since many construction workers carry both their business phones and their private cell phones with them.The breathable BRZ construction is used, a new level.Especially when working indoors and in warm and dry working conditions, the yellow and orange-black trousers and jackets cut a good figure with their lightweight fabric made of a 4-way stretch material and well thought-out pocket positioning.The garments are air-conditioned by net-like, laser-cut ventilation slats.The concept of functional workwear with its adaptability to fluctuating temperatures runs through the entire collection.For example, on the Chelsea Evolution BRZ trousers, cool air can be fanned at any time via the mesh ventilation in the side seam.This works amazingly well, as we were able to determine in the «hands-on».The ventilation can be adjusted to the environment depending on how the zips are opened.Fully open zips on the side ventilation pockets are never visually disturbing.If the ventilation pockets are open from the inside, cooler ambient temperatures are quickly noticeable.In this case, you should better protect yourself against colds by to appeal to modern tradespeople who are exposed to a wide range of different working conditions.Not scantily clad, one also presents oneself with additional labels and certifications.Especially since future scenarios such as complete workwear made of recyclable PET materials are increasingly becoming a possibility, these influences do not bypass the Norwegians either.We have been working with industrial partners for a long time, for example to reduce the negative impact of single-use plastic.More than 70 percent of the fabric volume has been certified according to "Bluesign" or "Oekotex" since 2021.Higher goals such as water-free dyeing technology for lower water and energy consumption as well as lower CO2 emissions are also a priority.More than 40 percent of the new collection from Helly Hansen is therefore already dyed water-free for the lining and mesh.In the winter collection, phosphorescent light strips will also be used, which according to Helly Hansen should shimmer brightly in the dark for up to eight hours at night.Other properties of the luminescent material include a fast absorption time of five minutes of daylight.The lighting properties are also guaranteed offer professional equipment for the roughest conditions.For example, the Kensington Low BOA is equipped with an extremely elastic, abrasion-resistant midsole (EVA and eTPU), which ensures optimal cushioning and stability with every step.In addition, the shoe features a strong outsole for the best possible traction, a stylish knitted upper and molded TPU covers.Thanks to its additional metal-free protection against the penetration of nails and thanks to various reflective details, the safety shoe with its solid BOA closure system seems to be versatile and safe.The foot protection can be worn both during and outside of working hours.The second safety shoe, the Manchester Mid, also comes with metal-free protection that also protects against the penetration of nails.The protective shield was realized by a safety toe cap consisting of a non-metallic, puncture-resistant plate and non-metallic hardware.Thanks to the cushioning and light EVA midsole, an
