The 8th annual Fair-y Tale Festival held in the Dundee High School gymnasium is set to take place Saturday.

The collaboration between Our Town Rocks and Reads, the Dundee Library, DCS Trails, and multiple Yates County health service agencies is labeled as a creative step apart from the usual Health and Safety Fair. All children will receive a safety vest or helmet, a reflective drawstring bag, sunflower seed packets, and a new book during the two-hour event that starts at 10 a.m.

Organizers say straw hats, plaid shirts, coveralls, and bandanas are all part of the dress code for the free event.
